Heavy Duty Cast Iron Check Valve

The Cast Iron Check Valve allows fluid to flow in only one direction and closes automatically when flow reverses. Its operation is entirely automatic, relying on the differential pressure and velocity of the fluid in the line to open and close. Typical applications include hot and cold water, HVAC systems, steam, gas, and other general utility services.

The valve is available in two body materials: cast iron and ductile iron. Construction types include Swing, Lift, and Globe Silent designs. The one-piece disc is designed to withstand severe service conditions, while the large bolted cover allows easy access to the interior for routine maintenance.

Product Description

  • Body Materials: Cast Iron, Ductile Iron

  • Valve Construction: Swing Type, Wafer Type, Lift Type, Globe Silent Type

  • Disc Design: One-piece disc built to withstand extreme service conditions

  • Seating Surface: Engineered to prevent galling or scoring

  • Maintenance Access: Large bolted cover for easy inspection and maintenance

  • Coating Options: Epoxy powder coating or paint coating

  • End Connections: FF, RF, Wafer Type

  • Size Range: DN40 ~ DN600 (NPS 1-1/2” ~ 24”)

  • Pressure Ratings: PN10 / PN16 (Class 125 / Class 150)

Industrial Cast Steel Check Valve

The Cast Steel Check Valve, also called a non-return or one-way valve, allows flow in only one direction. It opens automatically under the force of velocity pressure and closes by the force of gravity. The valve is designed to prevent flow reversal in horizontal or vertical lines. For vertical or inclined installations, it is suitable for upward flow only.

The valve is available in a range of body materials, including carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, and duplex steel. Its one-piece disc construction ensures durability and reliability even under severe service conditions. Standard paint coating provides additional protection against environmental exposure. Large valves are fitted with lifting rings for easier handling during installation and maintenance.

Product Description

  • Body Materials: Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Alloy Steel, Duplex Steel, and other high-performance alloys

  • Bonnet Type: Bolted Bonnet or Pressure Seal Bonnet

  • Valve Construction: Designed to prevent galling or scoring of seating surfaces

  • Disc Design: One-piece disc capable of withstanding severe service conditions

  • Maintenance & Handling: Large valves equipped with lifting rings for easy hoisting

  • Coating: Standard paint coating for corrosion resistance

  • End Connections: RF, FF, RTJ, Butt-Weld (BW)

  • Size Range: DN40 ~ DN900 (NPS 1-1/2” ~ 36”)

  • Pressure Ratings: PN10 ~ PN160 (Class 150 ~ Class 1500)
