Corrugated Graphite Gasket — Class 150

Prosave Co Incorp manufactures the Corrugated Graphite Gasket in Class 150 rating as a semi metallic sealing element designed for heat exchangers and low to medium pressure flanged connections. The corrugated 316 stainless steel metal core is fully encapsulated within a flexible graphite sealing element, combining the resilience of graphite with the structural integrity of a metal substrate. Available in sizes from 1/2 inch to 24 inches.

The Class 150 Corrugated Graphite Gasket features a precision corrugated metal core manufactured from 316 stainless steel, completely encapsulated by a compressible flexible graphite sealing layer. The corrugated profile concentrates sealing load onto the crests of the metal waves, enabling effective sealing at lower bolt loads compared to flat sheet gaskets. The full encapsulation of the metal core by the graphite element ensures leak tight performance across a wide range of process media while protecting the metal substrate from direct contact with corrosive fluids.

This gasket is fire safe and has withstood API fire test requirements. The flexible graphite sealing layer accommodates thermal cycling without loss of sealing integrity, making this gasket well suited to heat exchanger service and other applications subject to repeated temperature variation. Prosave Co Incorp manufactures this gasket in a standard thickness of 1/16 inch with 316 stainless steel winding, covering the full range of Class 150 flange sizes.
