Double Shell Double Jacketed Gasket
Prosave Co Incorp manufactures the Double Shell Double Jacketed Gasket for flanged connections requiring elevated mechanical strength and rigidity beyond that achievable with a standard double jacketed construction. Two reversed and overlapping metal shells fully enclose the soft filler, creating a robust sealing element suited to high load heat exchanger and pressure vessel service in demanding oil and gas environments. Available in standard DIN and ASME dimensions as well as custom sizes up to 5000 mm.

The Double Shell Double Jacketed Gasket is constructed by enclosing a soft filler material within two reversed and overlapping metal shells, forming a high rigidity sealing element with significantly greater structural resistance than single or standard double jacketed gaskets. The two shell construction distributes bolt load more evenly across the gasket face and resists deformation under high flange loading, making this configuration the appropriate choice where flange bolt loads are elevated, where gasket creep under sustained load is a concern, or where the mechanical integrity of the seal must be maintained under cyclic operating conditions.
Prosave Co Incorp manufactures this gasket to standard DIN and ASME flange dimensions and in the same full range of jacket and filler material combinations available across the jacketed gasket range. Custom dimensions, profiles, and material combinations are produced to customer specification for non standard equipment.
